Jack Austin

Jack Austin has been a part of Epsteen & Associates for over two years. As a Los Angeles native, he specializes in representing both regional and national retail tenants, in addition to providing landlord representation, across a diverse range of cities and counties throughout Southern California. His dual perspective allows him to strategically position brands in high-performing shopping centers while also helping property owners maximize value, curate strong tenant mixes, and enhance long-term asset performance.

A graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Communications, Jack combines strong interpersonal skills with a sharp analytical approach to market evaluation. He successfully completed Epsteen & Associates’ intensive driving program, dedicating over 2,000 hours to studying the Southern California retail landscape — touring more than 3,000 shopping centers, analyzing over 1,000 retailers, memorizing key intersections, and visiting more than 260 cities. This in-depth, boots-on-the-ground knowledge provides both his tenant and landlord clients with a meaningful competitive advantage when identifying and executing strategic opportunities.

Some of the tenants Jack has worked with include IONNA charging stations, Go Greek Yogurt, Water Wings, Sylvan Learning Centers, and Robeks. On the landlord side, Jack currently represents Sunbelt Investment Holdings and Hankey Properties, advising on leasing strategy, merchandising, and long-term value creation across their retail assets.
